This policy describes how the app handles information on your device. Information we collect Rekkaribongaus does not require an account and does not collect personal data on our servers. The app stores locally on your device: - Your game progress (current target number, collected plates) - Photos you take of license plates for your collection - Approximate GPS coordinates at capture time (optional, for the collection map) - Achievement unlock state This data stays on your device unless you delete the app or use iOS backup/restore. Camera The app uses the device camera only when you open the Hunt screen to photograph a license plate. Camera access is required for plate capture and on-device text recognition. Location When you spot a plate, the app may store your approximate GPS coordinates at capture time so you can see where the spotting happened on a map in your collection. Location is optional: if you deny permission or GPS is unavailable, spotting still works and no map is shown for that entry. Location data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. On-device processing License plate numbers are read using on-device OCR and Apple Foundation Models where available. Plate images and recognized text are processed locally. We do not upload plate photos or recognized numbers to our servers. Third-party services Rekkaribongaus does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Optional "Buy me a coffee" tips use Apple In-App Purchase. Purchase status is processed by Apple and RevenueCat so the app can confirm a completed tip. We do not use this for advertising or analytics. Children's privacy The app is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Data retention and deletion Uninstalling the app removes locally stored game data from your device. iCloud or iTunes backups may retain app data according to your device backup settings.
